This turkey (that was brought home) does not
want to be eaten on Thanksgiving Day! Brainstorm together for some fun ways to
disguise him so the farmer can’t find him when it’s time for dinner. Be
creative and use any materials you want. Some ideas include a snowman, penguin,
princess, superman, football player, bumble bee or anything that comes to mind!
The idea of this project is to work
together with your child!
Please
return the completed project by Tuesday, November 13th. The
students will each take a turn sharing their project with the class. These will
be displayed for all to see! Be sure to
title your turkey (attached); for example: “The Barford Family’s Princess
Turkey”. Some examples are included below. Inspired by the booksTurkey Trouble and Turkey Trick or Treat by Wendi Silvano.
Let us know if you have any
questions. Each year we are amazed by the creativity and can’t wait to see what
this year has in store!
Thank you and HAVE FUN!
