Pre-K Votes!

Having Election Day off didn't stop Pre-K from voting! We voted on our favorite book!
            

These are 3 of our favorite series! If you're looking for a series for your child to take interest in....any of these are  really great!!! 

First, we heard a non-fiction story about Election Day! Next, we discussed the meaning of an election and voting. Then, it was time to vote! 

We voted for our favorite book by circling one book!

We counted up the votes (using tally marks) and discussed the results!
The winner was.....Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons with 7 votes! Let's Go for a Drive! and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom came in for a close second and third.

A fun lesson that incorporated Literacy, Math and Social Studies!
