Having Election Day off didn't stop Pre-K from voting! We voted on our favorite book!
These are 3 of our favorite series! If you're looking for a series for your child to take interest in....any of these are really great!!!
First, we heard a non-fiction story about Election Day! Next, we discussed the meaning of an election and voting. Then, it was time to vote!

| We counted up the votes (using tally marks) and discussed the results! The winner was.....Pinkalicious with 11 votes! Let's Go for a Drive! and Pete the Cat I Love My White Shoes were tied for second place with 3 votes each! A fun lesson that incorporated Literacy, Math and Social Studies! Pre-K Votes!!! |
