We Are Family!!!!

Now that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, we have been talking about being thankful. One thing we are all thankful for is our family! Pre-K has been learning about families by reading books and discussions. We heave learned what families can have, where families can live and what families are....
On sentence strips, we each drew the people in our family and labeled each person. Then, we each said a sentence about what we like to do with our family!

Come check out our family sentence strips displayed outside of our classroom!
We are SO thankful for our families!!!

Rockin' with Good Character!

A big congrats to Whitney, Melvin, Michael, Stella, Klaudia, Roselie, Mariam, Tyler and Rebecca! Keep up the great work!
Way to go Pre-K! :)

Pop See Ko

Our hands are high are feet are low and this is how we Pop See Ko! Pop See Ko, Pop Pop See Ko!
If you hear your Pre-K'er singing these words at home, it's a real song!!!! It's another one of our favorite "break breaks" in Pre-K! Beware...this song will get stuck in your head for the next few days!!! You can find Pop See Ko at https://www.gonoodle.com/ (Sign up for free!) along with tons of other fun brain breaks or right here at Pop See Koo . Have fun! How do you Pop See Ko?!

Thanksgiving Feast!

Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving Feast! It is also an early release day with dismissal at 1:10.  Thanks to all contributing to help make our feast fabulous! Since we will be eating lunch in our classroom as a Pre-K family, there's no need to send in lunch with your child. We will be eating a delicious lunch of turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls and some other yummy treats!  Please still send in a snack for your child. Be on the look out for Thanksgiving pictures! Wishing you and your family a very happy and safe Thanksgiving!
My Pre-K class is definitely at the top of my thankful list! :)

Fun Run!

The Fun Run was a huge success and it sure was FUN! Team Pre-K Rox really ROCKED the Fun Run! Don't let these little legs fool you....Pre-K ran a combined total of at least (drum roll please)....488 LAPS!!!! Every student gave 110% and participated for the entire run. We not only ran our little hearts out, but also practiced good sportsmanship. Ms. Nelly and I also did our best to run and cheer out little runners along, while keeping an eye on the class (and trying to snap a few pictures, as well)! I'm sure your mini athlete slept well on Friday night! I sure did! ;)
Thanks to those of you who came to volunteer and cheer us on and for those of you who could not make it....enjoy a few pics below!
