Happy Earth Day!

Remember all of those recyclables you so kindly sent in? Well, here are our recycled creations! Here in Pre-K we used our imaginations (and some tape, feathers, stickers and jewels) to reuse those recyclables and made things such as a bus, sun, telescope, library, mermaid and robot! Scroll down to check out all of our creations!

Prepping our Recycled Creations....
*Note: Giving kids a roll of tape makes them as happy as can be!!! :)

Reusing paper bags to make special Earth Day hats!

 Here's the finished product!
 Gotta have a silly pic!

Playing with dirt in the classroom?!? You got it....we filled our Sensory Table with dirt and all of the kids LOVED it!!!
Houses made from empty milk cartons from our lunch!
We had a blast during the month of April learning about ways to help our Earth! At least once a day, one of our little scholars will show me a triangle on the bottom of their snack container to let me know that it can be recycled, or point out a recycling bin or pick up some liter on the playground. It's great to see what an impact the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling has made on them already!
Remember, everyday is Earth Day! Take care of the Earth and the Earth will take care of you!
                                                                 xoxo Pre-K  :)
