We learned about MLK's dream....for all people to get along. In Pre-K we talked about how we should not care about what people look like on the outside, but who they are on the inside! We read "It's Okay to be Different" by Todd Parr and read a scholastic digital magazine about Dr. King. Our little scholars made our own "I Have a Dream" hats and wrote our own dreams on them. We wore them proudly! I hope you enjoyed the day off!

We may look different...
but we are all friends!
 Our dreams...

Our Pre-K dream is that we are all nice to each other and two thumbs up to Pre-K for accomplishing this!

Working our way to the 100th Day!

The 100th Day of school is quickly approaching and it's a pretty big deal! Since day 1, we have been counting our way to the 100th Day and we are almost there! As long as we keep our no snow day streak going, the 100th day is scheduled for Friday, February 8th!
Check out our 100th Day Family Projects...so fun and creative!
We hope to get 100% participation!

Happy New Year!

We rang in the new year in Pre-K by reading some New Year's books and doing a few countdowns (thank you, Netflix!)! We learned the meaning of  a resolution (a promise you make to be better or help others) and will make our own resolutions! Check out the adorable 2019 hats we made!

 Happy New Year!!!!

Gobble Gobble!

We had such a nice Thanksgiving Feast with our Pre-K family! We ate a delicious lunch of chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, corn, rolls and cupcakes. Before we ate, we went around the table and each shared something we were thankful for. It was very sweet! Thanks to all of those who helped and contributed to make our feast possible. We appreciated it! So thankful for these cute little turkeys!!!! Remember....there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for!

Setting up for the feast! The kids were SO excited to see this coming back from specials! :)

 LOVE these turkey hats!
Cutest turkeys around...
